Pump Station Upgrade & Commissioning Project
We recently completed a full pump station upgrade and commissioning for a client, delivering a complete system overhaul designed to improve reliability, safety, and long-term performance. The project involved replacing critical components, upgrading controls, and carrying out full testing to ensure the station was left fully operational and set to automatic duty.

The Brief
The client required a complete pump station upgrade to address ageing equipment and ensure improved operational reliability. The scope of works focused on replacing key mechanical and electrical components, upgrading control systems, and improving overall system performance. The objective was to leave the pump station fully tested, commissioned, and operating safely in automatic duty.
What We Did
- Control Panel Installation: Installed a brand-new control panel to modernise the system and improve operational control.
- New Pump Supplied & Installed: Supplied and fitted a new pump to enhance reliability and performance.
- Guide Rails & Mounting System: Installed new guide rails and mounting bracket system to improve stability and maintenance access.
- Float Switch Upgrade: Fitted new float switches with bracket assembly to ensure accurate level control and system response.
- Lifting Chain & Shackle Replacement: Installed a new lifting chain and shackle for safer ongoing maintenance access.
- Pipework & Valve Replacement: Replaced pipework including non-return valve, gate valve, and associated fittings to improve system integrity and prevent backflow issues.
Testing & Commissioning
Following installation, full testing and commissioning were carried out.

The station was left fully operational and ready for service.
